Communities within Parsippany

Parsippany is really a group of communities, each with its own feel: Lake Hiawatha, Lake Parsippany, Mount Tabor, Rainbow Lakes, Powder Mill, Intervale, Rockaway Neck and Troy Hills. Lake Hiawatha and Mount Tabor even have their own ZIP codes.

The township has two high schools, Parsippany High School and Parsippany Hills High School, so the section you choose also shapes where your kids go to school.

Getting around

Parsippany sits where Interstates 80, 287 and 280 meet, with Routes 46, 202 and 10 running through town, which makes it an easy base for jobs across Morris, Passaic and Essex County.

There's no train station inside the township; commuters use Mount Tabor station in neighboring Denville on NJ Transit's Morris & Essex Lines, or Lakeland Bus Lines to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
